What defines U-INSPIRE?
A platform of youth and young professionals which aims to bridge the gaps between the world of researchers with government, practitioners, and the public/communities as well as across different disciplines, institutions, and scale (local, national, global), by creating spaces for youth and young professionals to empower their role in SETI for disaster risk reduction. It is expected to contribute in the achievements of SFDRR and Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4, Goal 8, Goal 9, Goal 11, Goal 13, and Goal 17.

The People Behind U-INSPIRE
Currently, U-INSPIRE is managed by one Lead, one Internal Affairs coordinator, and five Co-leads, and is advised by Advisors. All managers and members are working on a voluntary basis. The Internal Affairs consists of divisions, i.e. Administration and Financial Management, Human Resources, Website, Social Media, Event Organizing, Online Discussion, and Business Development. The platform is formed by five Working Groups, i.e. Knowledge Management, Innovation Room, Science Communication, Advocacy, and Communication and Networking. Each Working Group is led by a Person in Charge (PiC), assisted by Co-leads.
